One of our clients — a global leader in FMCG is currently seeking to hire an a Media Lead in Milan (Italy).
The Media Lead will be responsible for developing integrated media strategies across TV, digital, and retail media, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives. A key part of the role will be leading mobile‑first creative approaches, leveraging first‑party data, and implementing AI‑driven solutions for programmatic buying and creative optimization. Experience in the Italy media landscape is essential to manage multi‑market campaigns effectively and maximize reach and impact.
Your Day‑to‑Day:
Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop integrated TV, digital, and retail media strategies aligned with brand goals.
- Lead mobile‑first creative approaches, tailoring formats and placements for each platform.
- Position retail media as a core driver of performance‑focused campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and adjust plans to maintain competitive leadership.
Audience Management & Data‑Driven Targeting
- Build precise audience strategies to reduce overlap and maximize efficiency.
- Use insights to enable personalized targeting and cross‑channel optimization.
AI & Technology Adoption
- Implement AI‑powered solutions for creative personalization, programmatic bidding, and media optimization.
- Explore new technologies to drive innovation in media execution.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a connector between brand communication teams and creative agencies.
- Build a strong partnership with the media agency, acting as an integrated extension of the internal team.
Media Tracking & Performance Optimization
- Manage full‑funnel KPIs, from awareness to lead generation and traffic to online and offline stores.
- Conduct media reviews across countries and brands to refine strategies.
- Lead monthly competitive analysis across markets.
- Adjust plans based on sales results and brand health metrics.
Expert Media Knowledge
- Extensive experience across TV, digital, and retail media.
- Proven experience driving online business growth by balancing branding and performance.
- Strong understanding of first‑party data strategies, segmentation, and personalization.
Data‑Driven Approach
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).
- Ability to manage awareness and performance KPIs across the full funnel.
