On this occasion, one of our key clients in the energy sector is looking for a Billing Manager to lead their German market operations from Porto.
As a Billing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing the Order to Cash team for the German market.
- Ensuring that all processes are documented, followed and continuously improved.
- Managing escalations and ensuring complaints are addressed or redirected appropriately.
- Maintaining effective communication via phone and email with internal and external stakeholders (business units, customers, partners, etc.).
- Monitoring and analyzing KPIs and performance metrics to ensure team targets are met and processes remain sustainable.
- Organizing and participating in monthly escalation meetings to review open issues and resolutions.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- A university degree (or minimum completed secondary education).
- Native or C2 level of German and B1 level in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
- Solid experience in team management and a strong background in billing or financial processes.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally.
