This time, one of our clients — a global leader in pet nutrition with a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in La Chapelle Vendômoise — is looking for a Process & Production Improvement Specialist. This key role will drive operational excellence by leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing production flows, and implementing technical solutions that enhance reliability, efficiency, and product quality.
What You Will Do:
Process & Production Improvement
- Leads continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, productivity, and loss reduction.
- Designs and monitors KPIs for activity, quality, and efficiency (OEE).
- Develops technical solutions to optimize product cost and reliability.
- Participates in technical initiatives: digitization, machinery upgrades, regulatory compliance, ergonomics, and data quality.
- Manages technical documentation and leads 5S and SMED projects.
Workstation & Flow Optimization
- Audits production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Integrates human factors to optimize quality, cost, lead time, and satisfaction.
- Conducts flow studies and value stream mapping (VSM).
- Drives HOSHIN projects and workstation improvement initiatives.
Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Identifies priorities with stakeholders and analyzes operational KPIs.
- Audits performance of resources and operational flows.
- Organizes improvement workshops and ideation sessions.
- Defines improvement areas, action plans, and performance indicators.
- Coordinates with project and production teams to implement solutions.
Implementation & Operational Support
- Applies new techniques and working methods.
- Leads cross-functional teams and plans project actions.
- Supports technical and operational staff training.
- Conducts regular meetings, plant visits, and inspections.
- Follows up on action plans and assigned tasks.
Educational Background:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience:
-Proven experience in production process optimization, continuous improvement, and technical project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, and HOSHIN methodologies.
-Experience with KPI design and monitoring (OEE, quality, efficiency).
-Proficiency in value stream mapping (VSM), workstation design, and flow analysis.
-Familiarity with digitalization initiatives, machinery upgrades, and regulatory compliance.
