Data Engineer

-Build and maintain Data Lake databases (Market Research, Media, Campaigns, Consumer Data, Sell-Out, Assortment, Price & Promo, Distribution, Sell-In, Profitability)
-Design and evolve dimensional and semantic models for the Data Warehouse (Market Size, Marketing Mix, CRM, Promotion & Inventory Optimization, Demand Planning)
-Monitor data pipelines and proactively resolve issues to ensure reliability and integrity
-Integrate internal and external data sources into a unified data ecosystem
-Enforce governance standards (cataloging, lineage, PII masking, access control) and improve data quality
-Maintain IT infrastructure including Azure Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, BigQuery, Looker, Apache Airflow
-Lead IT projects to deliver data models and dashboards aligned with business goals
-Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, owners, BI teams, and stakeholders to enable analytics and ML
-Promote best practices in engineering (CI/CD, IaC, code reviews, monitoring, continuous improvement)

 

-5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, and data warehousing
-Strong skills with Azure Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, GCP BigQuery, Python, and SQL
-Experience in building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data models
-Knowledge of data observability, streaming, CDC (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Debezium)
-Proficient in Apache Airflow for orchestration and MLOps tools (MLflow, Vertex AI)
-Familiar with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud cost optimization
-Experience with automated testing, data contracts, and data product design

-Strong understanding of data science and AI in business contexts
-Experience leading data teams and driving data strategies
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics
-Adaptable and innovative, staying up-to-date with modern data trends
-Fluent in English (spoken and written)
