This time, one of our clients—a leading company in the security sector—is looking for a Regional Accountant to join their team in Barcelona and continue growing together. 

- Act as a financial business partner for the Southern Europe region (Spain and Italy). 
- Manage P&L analysis, margin reviews, and variance analysis, providing strategic recommendations. 
- Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts aligned with business goals. 
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and collaborate with the Shared Services Center on payments and collections. 
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper provisioning for slow-moving stock. 
- Ensure compliance with local tax and financial regulations, including VAT filings and audits. 
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting. 
- Evaluate and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. 

- 4–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in multinational environments within manufacturing, sales, or distribution. 
- Practical knowledge of tax and compliance regulations in Spain and Italy. 
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent certifications are a plus. 
- Fluent in English for business environments; other languages such as Spanish, Italian, or French are a plus. 
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa) and advanced Excel skills. 
- Strong analytical and communication skills to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. 
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. 
- Familiarity with Shared Services Center (SSC) environments is a plus.
